Uncle Jim's Fish Oil
Uncle Jim's fish oil is collected during the refining process of fresh fish. It retains a high concentration of natural fish fat that is highly attractive to Mink, Coon and Otters. This oil can be used by itself or as a base for lures and baits. Shellfish or clam oil can be added to make a very potent attractant. To use as a paste bait, no need to add melted vaseline, lard or any other foreign substance. Just pour oil into wide mouth containers and chill over night. Fish fat will congeal in cold weather and create a (PURE FISH) spoonable bait that holds up well in heavy rains. For squirtable applications, it's highly recommended to transfer oil to wide mouth mustard, syrup or dish soap bottles that can be placed on the dash board between trapping locations or tucked inside a coat to prevent it from congealing. Uncle Jim's oil will congeal in the cold and is not easily wahsed away.
